PTBO Market - High Prices, Rising Inventory, Investor Sentiment, Ukraine Implications.

The fourth week of February 2022 brought us a mix of sky high prices and some signals of shifting trends. Both buyer and seller sentiment/ projections about the future of this prolonged price run seem to be shifting quickly.

Adding to those winds of change are the implications of the recent historic events in Ukraine, which could provoke policy shifts in both immigration rates and interest rates hike, both of which are major variables in the real estate price pressure equation.

Which combination of the push and pull factors will prevail between buyer fatigue, supply chain bottlenecks, inflationary pressures, economic uncertainty, record immigration, and shifting GTA exodus trends as the weeks roll on? We can only speculate, but will continue to follow along as closely as we can with these weekly videos.
